How search works

Search starts with the practical question: what can you watch in your country, on the services you selected?
Search uses your country and selected streaming services. Genre, original-language, time and quality preferences shape discovery, but do not hide title or actor search results.
Title search
- A partial search, such as Delhi, shows matching titles available on your selected services.
- An exact title match, such as Delhi Belly, stays visible even if it is not currently on those services. Its card says Not on your selected services so the exception is clear.
- Exact matches are placed ahead of looser name matches.
Actor search
- Choose Actors in the search field, then enter a name. If several people match, StreamRanker asks which person you mean.
- Actor results begin with acting credits available on your selected services, ranked best first.
- Select Show all credits to browse the person's other acting credits too. Cards identify titles that are on your services, not on them, or whose availability has not yet been checked.
- Availability checks are deliberately paced, so a prolific actor cannot overload the service lookup.
Why a title may not appear
A non-exact title search can return no result when the title is not currently available on your selected services. Actor search starts in the same available-only view; use Show all credits to look beyond it.
